40K - Chaos Space Marines - Combat Patrol: Iron Warriors

The Iron Warriors favour overwhelming firepower to subdue their enemies. Led by Warpsmiths, masters of infernal technology, they march forward in slow, menacing strides. Havocs unleash devastating firepower, Chaos Terminators wade through fields of fire to engage enemies, and Legionaries use centuries of experience to complete mission objectives and execute their foes.

Masters of the Siege

This loaded box is an excellent way to start a new Iron Warriors-themed Chaos Space Marines collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits individually. This army is led by a Warpsmith, a flexible leader who is adept at both ranged and close combat. A Chaos Terminator Squad acts as a durable line-breaking unit, Havocs wield heavy weapons to take care of heavy assets, while Legionaries capture and hold objectives. These 21 multipart plastic miniatures represent a complete Chaos Space Marines force for use in tight, tactical Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000. The rules for this Combat Patrol are available as a free download on the Warhammer Community website.

This boxed set builds 21 multipart plastic Chaos Space Marines miniatures:

The Havoc kit includes 2 autocannons, 2 heavy bolters, 2 lascannons, 2 missile launchers, and 1 reaper chaincannon. The champion can be armed with a plasma gun, meltagun, or flamer, and a power maul or Astartes chainsword.

The Chaos Terminators have a range of weapon options, including 5 combi-weapons, 3 power fists, 1 heavy flamer, 1 reaper autocannon, 1 chainfist, and 1 pair of lightning claws. The 9 heads and 5 sets of trophy racks are interchangeable across the miniatures.

The Aspiring Champion of the Legionaries can be armed with a plasma pistol or a bolt pistol, and a power fist, power maul, or power axe. The rest of the squad can be armed with interchangeable weaponry, including 8 bolters, 7 bolt pistols, 7 chainswords, 1 meltagun, 1 plasma gun, 1 flamer, 1 missile launcher, and 1 heavy bolter.
