Black Library - Grey Knights: The Omnibus - Paperback

A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus

The Grey Knights are servants of the Ordo Malleus – incorruptible warriors whose very purpose is to seek out and destroy the most dangerous foes that humanity will ever face: daemons. These stalwart Adeptus Astartes bring death and destruction to the immortal denizens of the warp. They rush to places where others dare not tread. Without the Grey Knights, humanity would be but a feast on the sacrificial altar of darkness…

READ IT BECAUSE

This most mysterious, yet important, of all Space Marine Chapters exists in the shadows – most Imperial citizens have no idea they exist. These stories give you rare insight into their structure and organisation, and are packed with daemon-hunting action.

THE STORY

In Grey Knights, the daemonhunter Mandulis gives his life to banish a foul daemon prince back to the warp for a thousand years. A millennium later, Justicar Alaric of the Grey Knights leads an elite team of his brothers to thwart a prophecy which heralds the fiend's return.

Alaric returns in Dark Adeptus. His strike force is sent to a forge world that disappeared amidst rumours of corruption and civil war. The elite daemonhunters are sent to investigate Chaeroneia, determine the presence of any daemonic influence, and terminate with extreme prejudice.

Hammer of Daemons follows Alaric as he's taken to the Eye of Terror and stripped of his armour and weapons – forced to fight in a gladiatorial arena for his daemonic masters who worship Khorne. His only chance to escape is to find a legendary weapon with the power to destroy the forces of Chaos that imprison him, before he is killed, or worse, corrupted.
